Secondary School „Knez Aleksandar Karađorđević“ organized the fifth Internal Employment Fair on 15 May 2026, continuing a yearly initiative aimed at supporting students in their transition from education to the labour market. The event gathered around 250 final-year students, representatives of 11 local companies from Kragujevac, as well as representatives of the National Employment Service and the Job Info Center.
The fair was organized by the School Career Guidance and Counselling Team and the Dual Education Team, with the aim of introducing students and young people to local companies, employment opportunities, and the needs of the labour market. During the event, students had the opportunity to speak directly with employers and labour market support organizations, learn more about available positions, and submit their CVs at exhibitor stands.
This year, the school used the Employment Fair as an opportunity to promote the WELDNET project, and present its objectives and planned activities to students, companies, and partner organizations. Through conversations with participants and promotional activities during the event, the project team highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation between education and the labour market and creating better opportunities for young people.
